Our B.Out Survival Blanket is an emergency blanket made of highly-reflective mylar material, which was first developed by NASA in 1964. Extra large surface, measuring 62.9 inch x 82.6 inch (160 cm x 210 cm), these lightweight, compact blankets are ideal when space is at a premium. Their design reduces the heat loss in a person's body, which would otherwise occur due to thermal radiation, water evaporation, or convection. The metallic surface can also be used as an improvised distress beacon. While olive green drab side still allows for covert operation.
B.Out Emergency Survival Reflective blanket:
- Can be seen easily from a distance
- Useful for heat deflection; body heat insulation; a wind and rain barrier, or an emergency signaling device.
